Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza is one of the most exclusive accommodations in Ibiza. It has a class rating of 5 stars and is situated on the South East coast in Playa d’en Bossa. Conveniently, the Ibizan Hard Rock Hotel is only a 7 minute drive from Ibiza Airport.
Checking In
During the check-in process, the Hard Rock staff treated us to cool glass of something orange and tasty. It wasn’t long before we were been issued our wristbands and been led to our room by the porter. Be warned, the porter will not take no for an answer when it comes to carrying your luggage. So whilst the porter ported, we trailed behind taking in the stunning grounds that is the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza.
The Service and Exclusive Touches
The staff and service at the hotel are both respectable. During our stay, Jay celebrated a birthday. Unexpectedly, we were presented with rich chocolate cake with gold leaf and a personalised birthday message. I say we because the staff originally thought it was my (Steph) birthday, so initially I was presented with the lovely gesture. However when we corrected their mistake, the cake was quickly collected and altered. It returned a little melted but was most delicious and we appreciated the effort.
As we began to relax and use the facilities, we noticed that the staff were visible and easily accessible. We ordered ‘pool service’ with ease and we were not disappointed! Although, as to be expected, we did pay a premium for food inside the the hotel.
Fast forwarding to the end of our stay at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, we were pleasantly surprised by our complimentary chauffeur driven service to the airport. Our luggage was loaded and our chauffeur carried our bags into the airport, located our check in area and wished us well on our onwards journey! It was every bit of what one might expect a 5 star, exclusive experience to be. A real ”who are we?” moment.
The Entertainment
So what’s the entertainment like at the Hard Rock Hotel? Well it’s no secret that we visited out of season, or just before the Ibiza party season got into full swing. Although the Hard Rock Hotel stage was not in frequent use, the typical schedule of stage worthy events, during Ibiza’s peak season, is jam packed. Nevertheless, the out of season pool side vibe was perfection for us; relatable music that complimented our leisurely sun lounging.

Additionally, Hard Rock Hotel hires out its facilities for events and weddings. We were there when they were hosting a pool party and rooftop party for a Stockholm brand event. There were lots of influencers in attendance and overall it was an interesting experience. One of the pools were out of bounds for a few hours but everywhere else was still accessible to all paying guests at the hotel.
Hard Rock Pools
In respect to the pools at the hotel, there are 2; The Eden Pool and the main Outdoor pool. The Eden Pool is an outdoor freshwater pool located near the hotel’s tower block. However the main ‘Outdoor Pool’ is in the middle of the complex and is overlooked by everybody who has a room with an Outdoor Pool view. So, if being overlooked is a problem for you, you might prefer to use the Eden Pool as it is less overlooked… kind of. Regardless, the hotel does have plenty of areas which afford you some privacy. We enjoyed lounging in the cabanas. However, if you want a sea view cabana, be prepared the beg, borrow and steal as they were always in use or reserved by the time we got down there!
The Rooms
Our room was comfortable; we had the Deluxe Silver package which included a king size bed and a private terrace with a pool view. The decor was chic modern with mood lighting and great music options available on the wall mounted TV. So yes, you can party it up in your room; you’re in the Hard Rock Hotel after all, so where else is it ever going to be more appropriate to do that? Of course, there are other room options too; swim up rooms, round bed suites, outdoor tub terrace rooms, spa tub suites and stage or sea view suites, so you should be able to find something appropriate to fit your budget.

Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza – The Verdict
Overall the facilities are great! There’s plenty of relaxation space, including a spa, which is accessible for an additional charge. There is also a constant reminder that you are in the Hard Rock Hotel, evident by the interesting quotes and memorabilia from the rich and famous.
Ultimately, we would return to the Hard Rock Hotel! In our opinion, their shining jewel is the rooftop bar; the views and the vibes are truly unmatched.
